Opinel N°09 Oyster Knife with Bubinga Wood Handle

The essential tool for the precise opening of any kinds of shell fish, with absolute ease.

Bubinga handle protected with a clear varnish allows for a firm grip. Bubinga is an African hard wood sourced from sustainable forests.

It has a short blade - 6.5 cm in length and 2.2 mm thick whcih cuts only on 1,5cm sharpened tip

The point is centred on the axis of the handle for improved efficiency

Sandvik Stainless steel:
Made from Sandvik stainless steel, it is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chrome and requires no special maintenance. 

Virobloc Safety ring

Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all folding knives from the N° 06. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open for safety during use, it is possible to lock the blade closed for safety in transport.
